Commando Courses, Group sessions, Future Challenges and Commando Events in the next 6 weeks and beyond!!!
Hello guy's
I have some serious training courses with some great trainers and coaches coming up in the next few months and all are worth investing in but if you are a busy person with limited time...take a look through the following blog and see what grabs your attention.
Later on in the year we have some great trips away and all are welcome from Skiing in Chamonix to plunging yourself in the icy waters of Tough Guy 2012.
HIMALAYAS NEXT YEAR

After the success of Mont Blanc we are already drawing up plans for a visit to the Himalayas next October for a 6-6500m climb and extensive visit to this awesome Mountain range

SKIING IN CHAMONIX

I am booking the accommodation we used in Chamonix January 2012 for some serious ski and snowboard action!!! The accom will cost approx £160 and houses 14 people (two double beds for two couples available)
We will be hiring the Farmhouse, housing ten people.

I will be hiring a seven seater minibus (plus one car) to take the group there and back and we will then have the freedom to use them throughout the week (avoiding the headache of local buses and taxis)

The location means you have an over ground station within 200 metres and plenty of parking available at that time in the evening.

ATOMIC TRAINING WORKSHOP Saturday, July 30@ 8:30am -11:00am Location: Greenwich Park Cost £20

These are a new addition to Go Commando’s Group sessions and they are being brought forward by popular demand from my existing Commando clients. These are the first sessions to be taken at the weekend with each Atomic training session taking place over a Two and a half hour period in Greenwich Park starting at 08.30. The first session will take place on JULY the 30th and will commence on the last Saturday of each month
A typical session will encompass an
advanced Kettle Bell workout (you will need to have some experience before
attending on these days), Bulgarian Bag drill’s, Mace work, Athletic
conditioning equipment, body weight flow and some powerful hill work to
finish.....
The training will be open to all but be warned! The
Commando classes are normally tough.... These will be a punishing educational
experience!!
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask
questions throughout the workshop and they will be strongly welcomed
I am looking for those persons that want to be
blasted physically, educationally and emotionally

WARRIOR TRAINING CAMP, Sunday, August 14 @ 2:00pm - 4:30pm Location: KO South Thornton Heath, Cost £20

After the success of the first warrior camp last month, KO South London http://www.ko-muaythai.com/ is inviting me back for round two. The 2nd camp will be lasting between 2-2 and a half hours. Places are limited. The session will incorporate effective Kettle bell training for fighters as well as Bulgarian bag and body weight flow... KO's first class instructors will be making sure that the Fight skills and drills are incorporated throughout for maximum 'Sports specific' gains...

Dragon Boat Race @ Bewl water, Kent. 18th September: Do you have a group of interested Dragon boaters

Teams of 16 paddlers and a designated 'Drummer' take to the water over a 250m course. You do not need to be super fit but it will obviously help your team be crowned team 'A' Dragon Boat. There will be a BBQ after The Viking team has been crowned. Contact me to get added to the Viking long boat list.

OCTOBER 2011
Atlantic Coast Challenge, September 30th October 1st and 2nd 78.6 Miles over three days

Cost £155 for the three day event, but with a place to sleep for meals and transport you are looking at £250 P Person. Contact us and we will add you to the list and sort out your accommodation.
So far we have a team of 10 people signed up and ready to be challenged

TOUGH GUY 2012

This will be our third year at this event and this year we travelled there with 26 people! All came back alive but some of them did not feel alive for a while afterwards (frozen toes, bruised shins and battered bodies)

Cost £120-£150 dependant on how quickly you enter as it goes up nearer the time.

Atacama Crossing 2012 A Two week Event and extreme challenge!! Racing 250km over 7 days (A Marathon) per day, in the driest place on Earth with no recorded rainfall in 40 degree heat!

This challenge is part of 'Racing the planets' four deserts series (Racing the hardest climates in the world)
The Race cost $3300 us dollars this year to enter and may increase next year and the flights accommodation etc will add to this fee. I have 10 spaces provisionally booked up and I am pleased to say that we have Ten 10) people signed up already!!! :)
This is a once in a lifetime challenge and with it being 10months away you have loads of time to get Race fit with us.
